The Medicare Open Enrollment Period Runs from October through December!

Medicare open enrollment refers to a specific period every year where you can either sign up for Medicare if you’ve recently reached the age of eligibility or make changes to your existing Medicare coverage. During Medicare open enrollment, you can review and make adjustments to your Medicare health and prescription coverage options.
Here are a few things you can do during Medicare open enrollment every year:
- Join Medicare if you are not already enrolled in the program
- Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan
- Switch from a Medicare Advantage plan to Original Medicare
- Change your Medicare Advantage plan
- Change your Medicare Part D prescription drug plan
